Named after Rockaway beach in Oregon, this lacy, top-down shawl has two variations. Both start with an easy, two-row repeat mesh and are designed to show off the beautiful colorways of Lion Brand's Mandala yarns.

Rockaway Evening (shown in blue/grey) has a wide, lacy border at the hem. The colors remind me of an evening walk on the beach, with a little grey mist rolling in from the water, becoming a deeper color as the sun sets.
Rockaway Sunrise is a simplified version with a variable length. Its colors reflect an early morning walk, when the sky is beckoning.

GAUGE: 16 DC x 8 rows = 4” unblocked Note: Although gauge is not as critical with shawls as it is with more fitted
garments, it still affects the finished size and the amount of yardage you will need. For best results, check your gauge.
